These ecological prefabricated houses provide an alternative for current way of building detached houses. Very compact and well insulated building mass gave the name noppa (dice) for the house. Spatial richness is created by pitched roof as well as half warm terraces acting as buffer zone between inside and outside. Ventilation system is traditional without any mechanical device - something new in current way of building in Finland. |
